Follow these steps and portatour® + Dynamics is ready for use by your field force:
- Start installation: Install portatour® + Dynamics.
- Considerations for the configuration: Who is visited by the field sales force?
- License: Enter license data or request trial license.
- Settings for synchronization: When should which data be synchronized with portatour® Anywhere?
- Organization settings overview: Set working hours, scheduling parameters etc. Simply save the default settings if you only want to store your organization-wide settings at a later date.
- portatour® Users: Activate Dynamics users for portatour®.
- Synchronize all users: Perform an initial synchronization of all portatour® users.
Optionally we recommend:
- portatour® Custom Properties: Provide additional fields from Dynamics 365 in portatour® Anywhere.
In the long term, few administrative activities are necessary. portatour® saves all the data primarily in Dynamics 365. Data security and backups are ensured by Dynamics 365. The solution is updated by installing a new version, see Updates.
