For important addresses you need visit during working hours, we recommend adding customers (Accounts/Contacts/Leads). They can be of professional nature (headquarters, warehouses, garages, meeting places, preferred hotels ...) as well as of private nature (e.g. home location, second home, school / nursery ...). Adding them allows you to include these addresses – besides customers – in your sales route planning and optimize your time and traveling during your workday.
Hint: Create Accounts or Leads for these addresses, which are no customers in the traditional sense, only if permitted by your organization. Ask your administrator if unsure.
Activating these Accounts/Contacts/Leads for portatour® is essential. After activation, open the customer call settings and go to the My Places. Click Include in 'My Places':
After a confirmation question, the customer will be set to manual scheduling without a call interval, and the record will not be included in the statistics of the portatour® Reports (see section portatour® Report)
By adding an appointment for this customer, you can include a visit to this place to your schedule – see section Create Appointment.
