Customers from the list are also shown on the map. The map view is automatically moved towards the customer selected on the list. You can move the map dragging the mouse while holding the left mouse button. A double-click on a location on the map zooms it in. Alternatively, you can use the zoom slider on the top left of the map.
The map can be opened and closed by clicking on the small triangular button to the left of the label saying map, as well as resized by sliding the bar between the list and the map section. The last size setting of the map will be remembered until you return to the map.
The markers show the customers that need to be called, the color indicates the due date:
red = overdue | |
yellow = due now | |
green = not due | |
blue = manual appointment or point of departure/arrival |
A bubble opens when you click on a customer marker, displaying an information summary of the customer, and the respective line in the list will be temporarily highlighted in blue. Clicking again on the marker or the red X closes the bubble.
If a customer is already suggested in the schedule, this is shown with the enlarged symbol containing the call date in the upper line, as well as the call details in the info-bubble. By clicking Edit you can modify the customer's reservation status - see section Include customers in schedule for more details. You will find the current reservation status in the second line of the marker.
Hint: If several customers have the same address and therefore the markers would lie on top of each other on the map – e.g. two contacts in the same building – portatour® thus staggers the markers a few meters apart on the map. Therefore, the position no longer corresponds to the exact geographical location, but all markers are visible and clickable.
