Under Administration > Overview > Anywhere Permissions you determine from which authorization level certain functions in portatour® are accessible (for authorization levels see Show user list).
- Select the license for which you want to change settings by clicking on the license name.
- Make changes to suit your requirements by selecting the desired authorization level for each option.
- Save and close the form after applying the changes.
The following setting options are available:
- All users: There is no restriction. This function can be equally used by users, supervisors and administrators.
- Supervisors & Administrators: This function can only be used by supervisors and administrators. They may even access the respective program function in the user's workspace if the actual user has no permission for it.
- Only Administrators: The previous point applies to administrators only.
- Nobody: The feature is deactivated for everyone, even for administrators.
An example: Would you like that customers can only be created or deleted in Dynamics so that the customer data base in portatour® Anywhere is kept up to date only via synchronization? But users should be allowed to update customer information such as names and addresses? Then you would choose the following settings:
