In the first section of the My settings tab in portatour® user settings, your home location is displayed:
Enter the address you usually start and end your sales-route with. Also, enter your home country in order to avoid ambiguity. Customers without explicit indication of the country are automatically located within your home country.
The address has already been initialized with your personal data, which can be found in the Salesforce Menu via Your Name /Setup/Personal Setup/My Personal Information/ Personal Information/Address. portatour® has already tried to geo-code your address on the map and displays it with a blue flag.
Check the address and the position shown on the map. If necessary, correct the address and click geocode to update the map. If the location is not where you want, you can set your home location manually. Click on the desired location on the map with your mouse. portatour® will ask you if you want to use this point.
Only entering your home address is required in the user settings window. You can leave the page by clicking Save. All other settings are optional and have already been pre-configured by the administrator of your Salesforce organization. However, we recommend adapting them to your work habits in order to achieve the best possible results with portatour®.
