It can be due to various causes that some users are not able to see some components, such as Call Settings, the portatour® tab, or Custom Buttons.
User activation and Permissions
Is the user activated for portatour®?
Open the Salesforce Tab portatour® User Settings and view all user settings by clicking on Go!. Users are activated for portatour® when they are on the list.
Does the user have the portatour® User static and portatour® User dynamic permission sets?
Users can only access portatour® functions, if the necessary authorizations are granted. Check whether the user has been granted the portatour® User static and portatour® User dynamic permission sets.
Are portatour® components and buttons added to the Layouts?
portatour® components of Salesforce Page Layouts and Search Layouts are integrated in Step Adjust Page- and Search Layouts. An error in the Layouts can cause them not to be displayed. Check the Layouts!
Is the user assigned the correct User Profile?
Salesforce selects which Layout the user can see, according to the User Profile. Check which User Profile is set for the user.
Is the Layout assigned to the correct User Profile?
Check whether the Layout is assigned to the user profile of the user. This Page Layout Assignment needs to be done for each object type, see section Optional: Get to know portatour® with sample layouts.
