If, under Options > Program settings, section GPS Navigation, you have selected Navigate to address:
portatour® transfers the address to your navigation program. If the navigation app does not find the desired address, it is usually modified to provide a result. An example: The navigation app does not find the desired street in the desired city, but in another city. The address is then changed to the other city, which is usually not the desired result. Tip: Change the above setting to Navigate to geoposition.
If, under Options > Program settings, section GPS Navigation, you have selected Navigate to geoposition:
portatour® transfers the geoposition to your navigation program. The navigation app searches for an address in the map data for this geoposition. Since portatour® and the navigation app use different map material, the displayed address does not have to be the same, even though the geoposition matches. For example, if there have been name changes, house numbers are very close to each other or street courses have changed. However, the actual navigation should hardly be affected by this.
