With Mass Activation, you can activate all customers you are the owner of at once for portatour®.
Open the portatour® tab:
The orange bar is the portatour® menu. Select Options to open the portatour® Options:
and then click on Customer Activation:
Proceed to section Activate Customers for portatour®. Select whether you would like to activate Accounts, Contacts, or Leads:
Click Calculate Count.
Hint: Only customers you are the owner of are taken into account. These can be further restricted by a filter, which has been configured by the administrator of your Salesforce organization. Any set filter will be shown here.
portatour® calculates the number of records not yet activated and prompts you to confirm:
Select Start and wait until the action is completed. You will be notified continuously about the progress as well as errors in an info message.
The processing can take several minutes depending on the number of customers. Upon termination, you will receive a summary of all customers processed:
It may happen that the geo-location is not correct, or in rare cases not found at all, due to incorrect address information or due to a lacking degree of detail of the maps.
Customers listed in the Errors section need to be activated manually, after the you have corrected the cause for the activation error – mainly a missing address. By clicking on the customer link in the result protocol, the respective customer is opened in a new browser window or tab where activation can be effectuated manually. See section Manual activation.
Geo-coding warnings of mass activation are saved in the customer call settings. By clicking on the customer link in the result protocol, the respective customer is opened in a new browser window or tab. There, you correct the address data (see section Call address and geo-location).
Geo-coding warnings can also be found, controlled and edited at a later point in time (see section Geoposition Warnings during Mass Activation).
