The maximum number of scheduled calls per day is primarily determined by the following settings, which you can change at any time in the options ( Direct link to portatour > Options):
- Your daily working hours (see Working hours)
- Your lunch break (see Work break settings)
- Your customers' opening hours (see Business hours of customers to edit the standard business hours)
- The durations of your visits (see Scheduling parameters of customers to adjust the standard call duration)
- The set driving speed (see Driving speed)
Depending on how you change these values, portatour® will schedule more or less calls per day. portatour® fills your working hours with call suggestions and optimizes routes. Don't forget to click on Update schedule after having changed the values.
A fixed limit of calls per day is not possible in portatour®, as this leads to poorer routes and more time on the road. An example: You drive to a remote location with 6 due customers. It makes sense to see all 6 customers there instead of turning back at the limit of 5 visits and traveling twice the distance because of one remaining customer.
