portatour® automatically avoids roads with usage-based tolls and tries to avoid them if a suitable toll-free alternative is available.
There is no special setting in portatour® to specifically avoid highways during route planning.
However, roads that are subject to a flat-rate toll regulation, such as those with a vignette requirement, are not automatically avoided. This means that routes via such roads will continue to be taken into account in planning.
