If you go to Options and Scheduling parameters and select Start of call in the Adherence to business hours drop-down menu, then portatour® will ensure that the beginning of the customer call is within the customer's business hours. However, the call itself can last beyond the business hours. In order to avoid this, select Entire call to ensure that the entire call takes place within the customer's business hours. Please note that this setting generally reduces the time available for calls and thus mostly leads to fewer calls in the schedule. Customers' lunch breaks have an especially limiting effect.
Manually scheduled appointments can take place completely outside business hours.
