After you have carried out the installation steps as described in Quick Guide and performed an initial synchronization of all users, we recommend that you test the synchronization. In the event of an unexpected result, you will have the opportunity to improve the configuration before your users start using portatour®.
Proceed as follows:
- Log in to portatour® Anywhere as administrator (see User login in portatour®).
- Click on Users at the top to go to the user list.
- Open the user detail page of any user by clicking on their name.
- There, click on Open workspace. You are now in the portatour® access of the relevant user.
- Test portatour® with a few clicks as described in portatour® in 4 buttons - My daily routine:
- Go to Schedule and click on Calculate schedule.
- Click on the first suggested call.
- Make a note of the customer's last call date. Click on Called now and save the call report, e.g. with the word "Test" as note.
- Synchronize the user in your Dynamics organization (see Synchronize a single user ).
- Check whether the test call report has been synchronized to Dynamics.
- Clean up the test data:
- portatour® Anywhere: Delete the schedule (Schedule > More > Delete schedule), delete the test call report and correct the last call date to the one previously noted.
- Dynamics: Delete the test call report.
