At Options > Program Settings ,you change the display of data in portatour®:
Schedule
Select Show trips for portatour® to display the journeys in the schedule, including destination, distance and duration between stops. If you want to hide these journey lines to save space, select Hide trips.
With Show full destination address portatour® will always show the complete destination address for drives in the schedule, i.e. street name with house number, ZIP code and city. Show at least destination city triggers the display of only the ZIP code and city on small screens (e.g. smartphones) to ensure a better overview, and the display of the entire address on bigger screens.
With Show business hours, customer business hours are displayed by portatour® in the schedule for the respective day, as long as they differ from the default business hours. If you want to hide this additional information, select Hide business hours.
With Show urgency, portatour® highlights the due date for each customer call (=urgency) by displaying the respective icon in the schedule. The icons disappear by selecting Hide urgency.
Customer list
Select Show only city to show the ZIP code and the city below each customer name in customer lists. Select Show full address to also see the further address details. If you recognize your customers by name and want to save space, select Hide address.
With Truncated report, the report text in the customer list is displayed a maximum of two lines high - even on larger screens. Select Entire report or Entire report (compact) to display the entire report text.

GPS Navigation
If your smartphone or tablet is equipped with a GPS receiver, select your preferred navigation program for the navigation function on the customer and appointment detail pages here. Google Maps, Apple Maps, Microsoft Maps, Bing Maps, Sygic, Waze, Navigon, Yandex.Maps, and Petal Maps are currently supported. If you select Automatic, portatour® recognizes which device you use and opens the default navigation software installed (currently Apple Maps on iOS devices and Google Maps on Android devices).
In addition, you select by using Navigate to address or Navigate to geoposition whether the address or the geoposition of the customer should be sent to the navigation app. Please note that not all navigation programs support both modes. portatour® selects the other mode if necessary.
Internet connection
This setting is relevant if you use portatour® on the road on your smartphone or tablet.
With the setting Close immediately, the connection to the internet will be disconnected a few seconds after loading the page, depending on the smartphone and network operator. Consequently, a new connection needs to be set up when loading the next page, which in turn delays the loading process.
Select Keep for several minutes to ensure that portatour® retains the internet connection after loading a page and thus accelerates the loading of subsequent pages. If you stay on a page for a couple of minutes, the connection will still be cut off. Please note that keeping the internet connection active for a longer period of time will slightly increase the battery consumption of your smartphone and the data volume transferred. The additional data volume is typically around 10 MB per month when used every day.
Select Refresh offline data to activate the offline mode in portatour®. Go to Offline mode to read more about the offline mode.
Language and Region
Here you set the language you want to use for portatour®. In addition, the display of dates, times and values is adjusted to the selected country. Changes to the selection only apply once you have clicked Save.
In the following drop-down menu you select your time zone, which is necessary for calendar sharing (see Calendar).
In the following drop-down menu you set the measurement system that portatour® uses to display distances. Select between Metric (km) and U.S. (Miles).
